Our mission

To empower vulnerable communities to achieve a green Sudan, a clean environment, and a peaceful society by enhancing key sectors, including environment, food security and livelihoods (FSL), education, protection, health, nutrition, and WASH, through well-planned, multidimensional programs.

Our Objectives

GDO focuses on fostering home farming and school gardens, enhancing water sources, sanitation, and hygiene in schools and rural areas, and improving education through support for formal and non-formal systems. It empowers women, particularly in conflict-affected areas, and works to strengthen primary healthcare, maternal and child health services while addressing acute food insecurity and malnutrition among vulnerable groups.
